Inline demolition hammers hit harder than chipper hammers to perform chiseling and light demolition tasks.  They are held horizontally to chisel walls and vertical surfaces, and are held vertically to chisel floors and horizontal surfaces.  Their inline orientation aligns the bit with the tool body to reach into recesses and maintain balance in any position.  Demolition hammers are used for applications such as removing tile and brick, grooving channels for pipes, and breaking up small areas of concrete.

The Bosch SDS-max Demolition Hammer is a 13 Amp tool that gets the job done.  It weighs only 13.7 lbs. for outstanding power-to-weight performance, and it has vibration control for comfort.  This hammer provides constant response circuitry for constant power under load, as well as smooth starts and overload protection.  Vario-lock positioning permits rotating and locking the chisel with precision, while the variable-speed dial permits the operator to match power to application—from 1300 BPM to 2900 BPM.
